ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR UNLAWFUL USE OF A GPS DEVICE

Roseburg Police cited a man for unlawful use of a global positioning device on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 5:30 p.m. officers contacted the 61-year-old in the 1900 block of Southeast Eddy Street, after a tracking device was found on a victim’s vehicle. He was interviewed in the case and admitted to placing the device on the vehicle.

The man was also served with a stalking order by Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for the incident.
