Roseburg Police cited a man for depositing trash near waters on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just about 2:20 p.m. officers contacted the 54-year-old as he was sleeping in a homeless camp in the 2600 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard. The camp was full of trash, which was scattered over an area of approximately 15 feet by 10 feet. It was also within 15 feet from a creek.

The man was released after the citation was issued.
