Myrtle Creek Police jailed a transient for alleged disorderly conduct on Sunday.
Information from MCPD released Tuesday said at 1:00 p.m. the 35-year-old was called in multiple times for getting in people’s space and causing alarm at Millsite Park and in the gravel lot behind it in the 200 block of South Main Street.
The man was contacted and warned. A resident came in later to the MCPD office and reported that the man had kicked his car and was threatening to take it. The suspect was located and taken into custody. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. He was detained without bail and was released on Monday.
