STATE POLICE JAIL MAN IN STOLEN SIGN TRUCK INCIDENT

Oregon State Police jailed a Riddle man following a stolen sign truck incident early Friday.

Information from OSP released Monday said shortly after 4:00 a.m. workers with the Oregon Department of Transportation reported that the vehicle had been stolen from an active work zone on Interstate 5 at Winchester., The person who took the truck abandoned it just south of the work zone and left on foot.

40-year-old Shawn Patzer was located nearby and taken into custody. Patzer was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, second-degree disorderly conduct, and reckless endangerment of highway workers. He was detained without. Patzer was released on Monday.
