A Medford man was jailed after a DUII crash on Sunday.

A DCSO report said just after 12:20 p.m. a deputy responded to a motor vehicle crash with a possibly intoxicated driver in the 100 block of Buck Creek Road in Curtin. The deputy located a pickup that was blocking the roadway and was positioned in a ditch area. The driver said he had crashed and ran out of fuel.

The 65-year-old was allegedly clearly intoxicated as he could not walk and was falling over. The man had a strong odor of alcohol, his eyes were red, and his speech was slurred. He was taken into custody and at the jail provided a breath sample of 0.20 percent. The man was charged with DUII and reckless driving. He was detained without bail.
