ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR DUII-ALCOHOL EARLY FRIDAY

Roseburg Police cited a man after a traffic stop early Friday.

An RPD report said at 12:15 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle near the corner of Southeast Fowler Street and Southeast Douglas Avenue after observing violations. They contacted the 49-year-old driver who showed signs of impairment and refused to perform standard field sobriety tests.

The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections where he was cited and released for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. His vehicle was driven home by a sober driver.
