The STEAM Extravaganza is happening on Saturday May 18th at Umpqua Community College.

The annual event presented by the Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub is designed to provide an opportunity to show some of the activities and connections that people in the county are making in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

The family event is filled with activities that showcase the projects and skills of various schools, clubs, non-profit groups, businesses, industry, and other organizations. Robotics and drones will be featured along with animals from Wildlife Safari.

The STEAM Extravaganza takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. outside in the central area of the campus, between Jacoby auditorium and the library area. Some displays will be in the gymnasium with others in the Tech area by the athletic field, as well.

The event is held in partnership with Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub and Umpqua Community College. Admission is free.
