Umpqua Health Alliance committed over $500,00 to 31 different Community Health Improvement Programs in Douglas County in 2024.
UHI Chief Executive Officer Brent Eichman said, “Umpqua Health Alliance is committed to investing in programs and services that make a real impact on the health and well- being of our members and community. By collaborating with our community partners on work that supports the overall health of Douglas County, Umpqua Health Alliance is committed to meeting the unique needs of Douglas County”.
A UHI release said the selected programs span a diverse range of initiatives, addressing various health needs prevalent within the community. From promoting mental wellness to ensuring access to essential healthcare services, each program has been chosen for its potential to make a meaningful impact.
Some of the key focus areas of the funded programs include:

*Families and children
*Social determinants of health
*Behavioral health
