EARLY MONDAY CRASH ON INTERSTATE FIVE NORTHBOUND

Troopers from the Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Interstate 5 early Monday.

An OSP report said just after 2:00 a.m. a sedan was headed northbound near the Scotts Valley/Elk Creek interchange when the 27-year-old driver from Federal Way, Washington, said he hit an alternator that was in the lane of travel. The driver and two passengers did not sustain any injuries. There was no state property damage.
