In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Umpqua Community College Performing and Visual Arts Department will present a theatre performance “A Crooked Hand”, May 29th through June 2nd at the Whipple Fine Arts Center.
The film-noir detective comedy will feature the Umpqua Singers and will be presented in the Whipple Fine Arts Center. The Whipple will be transformed into the 1938 “Peppermint Pad Casino” for an evening of comedy and mystery. Desserts will be available for purchase.
General admission is $15 at the door. Seniors are admitted for $10 with students of all ages are admitted without charge.
Showtimes are Wednesday through Saturday at 7:00 p.m. There are matinees at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
