Sutherlin Police jailed a man for an elude incident on Thursday night.

An SPD report said at 11:30 p.m. 23-year-old Adrian Darin Lopez-Velasquez was stopped following a short pursuit that went from West Central Avenue and Hawthorne Street to Northwest Sherman Street.

Lopez-Velasquez was charged with attempting to elude police in a vehicle, reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants, and for providing false information to a police officer. He was detained on $66,250 bail.
