MOVIES IN THE PARK RETURNS IN JUNE

The City of Roseburg has Movies in the Park returning in June.

A City release said cosponsored by Roseburg Parks and Recreation and Rogue Credit Union, the free series will be held at the Nichols Band Shell in Stewart Park on Friday evenings.

This summer’s PG-rated movies are:

*June 7 – “Wish”

*June 14 – “Migration”

*June 21 – “Elemental”

*June 28 – “Wonka”

Each week, pre-movie entertainment is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Past entertainment has varied from music and kid’s crafts to animal meet-and-greets. Entertainment is followed by the movie starting at dusk, right around 9:00 p.m. Face-painting and snacks are available for purchase. Attendees can bring their own food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Dogs are not permitted. The city’s entire park system is tobacco free.

All movies and activities are weather-permitting and subject to change. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
