The Bureau of Land Management has closed the Susan Creek Falls Trail through May 17th.

A BLM Roseburg District release said the closure will be in place until contract work to remove burned material from the Susan Creek Falls location is completed. The trail will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday each week.

Rossbach, Assistant Field Manager for the BLM’s Swiftwater Field Office said, “We ask the public to be respectful of the closure and follow all signs and guidance provided at the trailhead”. Rossbach said, “The work being completed will greatly improve the visitor experience at the falls and will be a big step forward in restoring a popular area to a more functional condition”.
