Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said just before 3:00 p.m. the 30-year-old was contacted after a caller said there had been a theft from a store in the 1300 block of Southeast Stephens Street. She was reportedly found to be in possession of about $145 worth of merchandise.

The woman was taken into custody and charged with second-degree theft. Bail was set at $2,500.
