ROSEBURG POLICE FIVE PEOPLE FOR DUII INCIDENTS

Roseburg Police cited five people for DUII incidents between Friday night and early Saturday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 10:45 p.m. Friday officers saw a pickup speeding on Southeast Pine Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the 34-year-old man as the driver. He showed signs of impairment and allegedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and the vehicle was left parked at the scene. The man was cited and released for driving under the influence of an intoxicant.

Just after 12:45 a.m. Saturday officers contacted a 25-year-old Sutherlin man during a traffic stop in the 200 block of Southeast Jackson Street after he was observed failing to maintain his lane. During the stop, officers noticed signs of impairment. The driver agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. He was taken to corrections where he was cited and released for DUII. His vehicle was left at the scene.

Just before 2:00 a.m. a 24-year-old Sutherlin woman was contacted during a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Southeast Stephens Street. Officers instantly noticed signs of impairment. She consented to standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections where she was cited and released for DUII. Her vehicle was taken from the scene by a friend.

At 2:15 a.m. a 50-year-old woman was stopped for committing a traffic violation near the corner of Southeast Pine Street and Southeast Mosher Avenue. She was impaired and consented to standard field sobriety tests. The woman allegedly performed poorly and was arrested. Her vehicle was parked. She was cited and released from corrections for DUII.

Just after 3:20 a.m. a 31-year-old Tenmile woman was contacted during a traffic stop at the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Spring Avenue. Officers instantly noticed signs of impairment. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. She was taken to corrections where she was cited and released for DUII. Her vehicle was impounded.
