DEPUTIES JAIL ROSEBURG WOMAN FOR DUII/RECKLESS DRIVING

April 29, 2024 10:50 a.m.

Deputies jailed a Roseburg woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving on Sunday night.

A DCSO report said just after 9:45 p.m. a deputy observed the 24-year-old leaving a business in the 900 block of Southeast Stephens Street and driving through a red light at Southeast Washington Street. Her vehicle was stopped, and deputies noticed several signs of impairment. The woman initially denied drinking or leaving the business but consented to standard field sobriety tests. She allegedly performed poorly and was arrested for DUII. At corrections, she refused a breath test, and a warrant was obtained.

One hour later the woman provided a blood alcohol sample of .14. She was detained without bail and was released on Monday morning.
