CASA of Douglas County has its Scamper, Skip, or Stroll 5K and Family Fun Day on Saturday at River Forks Park.

The third-annual event includes a day of sharing and creating memories. There will be lots of fun-filled activities, a kids scavenger hunt and more.

The 5K run/walk begins at 10:00 a.m. The cost is $25 for adults, and $15 for kids ages 13-17. It is free for those age 12 and under. Advance registration ends at 11:59 p.m. Friday night.
