The City of Roseburg Budget Committee will have a public meeting in the city hall council chambers on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:00 p.m.

The committee will receive the budget message and take comments from the public on the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins on July 1st.

In addition, the committee will hold a public hearing on the possible uses of State Revenue Sharing Funds for the next fiscal year. During that budget year, the city will receive approximately $280,000 from the funds.

The Roseburg Urban Renewal Budget Committee will meet later that evening at 7:00 p.m.

If the budget is not approved on that Tuesday, both committees may also meet Wednesday, May 8th and possibly Thursday May 9th as needed until the budget is approved.

A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 1st at city hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
