Umpqua Small Business Development Center and Umpqua Community College have announced the launch of “Dream It/Do it’, a transformative summer day camp designed to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in Douglas County.

An SBC/UCC release said applications are being accepted through Sunday May 12th.

“Dream It/Do It” is exclusively open to high school juniors and seniors currently enrolled in the county at the time of application. The camp aims to empower young minds with the belief that the pathway to business ownership simply starts with an idea. In the five-day camp, up to 25 students will have the unique opportunity to engage with experienced business professionals, coaches, advisors, and fellow students while gaining invaluable skills, working on projects, inspiring one another, and developing business plans.

The camp will be held June 24th-28th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at UCC. Meals are included.
