ROSEBURG LIBRARY TO ADD DIGITAL MAGAZINES

April 23, 2024 3:05 a.m.

Roseburg Public Library is adding digital magazines to the collection based on the recommendation of the Roseburg Library Commission.

A City release said the service is expected to begin in early July, which gives patrons plenty of time to learn about the product and get their electronic devices ready.

Residents who currently access electronic books and audio books using the Libby app on a mobile device or Library2Go on their computers are set to get magazines when the service goes live.

Patrons who prefer to use a computer will find magazines available through https://library2go.overdrive.com/. While this platform doesn’t have as many bells and whistles, Library Director Kris Wiley believes some users won’t mind because they prefer the larger screen.

The library will continue to provide magazines in print format. At this time, 25 titles can be checked out with a Roseburg Public Library card.
