ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN AFTER WESTERN UNION MACHINE DAMAGED

Roseburg Police jailed a man after a Western Union machine was reportedly damaged on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 1:30 p.m. a caller said a man had kicked the front door off the tracks of the machine in the 1400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The 54-year-old suspect was identified. He admitted to kicking the front door and said he was upset because he couldn’t get his money order.

The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $5,000.
