A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged harassment incident on Sunday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 2:40 p.m. the victim and the 68-year-old suspect were involved in a disturbance on Manor Loop in Green. During the incident, the man reportedly slapped the victim, pushed her, and tackled her to the ground, causing injuries.

The man was ultimately charged with fourth-degree assault and was detained without bail.
