ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTOXICANTS

Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 10:30 p.m. officers contacted the man at his residence in the 1500 block of Northwest Calkins Road, after he allegedly caused a disturbance at another location and then drove home. The 24-year-old admitted to driving and stated he had not consumed any more alcohol after arriving home. He requested an attorney and was taken into custody without incident. A warrant was obtained, and he was taken to corrections.

Bail was set at $10,000.
