ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP

Roseburg Police jailed a man following a traffic stop on Tuesday.

An RPD report said shortly after 10:30 p.m. officers stopped the 32-year-old for expired registration tags in the 500 block of Southeast Stephens Street. During the stop, the officer learned the man’s license was criminally suspended and that he had an active warrant for his arrest.

He was charged with driving while suspended-misdemeanor, driving uninsured, having an expired registration and for the warrant. Bail was set at $ 9,970.
