ROSEBURG POLICE CITE WOMAN FOR DUII TUESDAY NIGHT

April 17, 2024 10:20 a.m. 

An RPD report said at 11:15 p.m. the 37-year-old crashed her vehicle into a fire hydrant near the intersection of Northwest Cecil Avenue and Northwest Fairmount Street. She reportedly left the scene without leaving any sort of contact information.

Officers contacted her at her nearby residence and learned that her license was suspended and that she was impaired. The woman consented to standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. She was taken into custody for driving under the influence of an intoxicant and was cited and released from corrections.
