Roseburg Police jailed a man for violation of a restraining order on Monday night.

An RPD report said at 10:10 p.m. officers learned that the 34-year-old was with a protected person in a restraining order, that they were the respondent too, but were unable to locate them. About thirty minutes later, officers located the suspect who admitted to being with the protected person for approximately five hours.

The man was taken into custody.  Bail was set at $5,000.
