ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED TRESPASS INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported trespass incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 12:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Southeast Ella Street after a caller said that several people were trespassing in the residence. Officers contacted the 38-year-old, who was the sole individual found inside, and informed him that he was trespassing.

The suspect refused to identify himself and was detained. After the main finally identified himself, officers contacted his probation officer and learned he failed to report. The man was detained and transported to corrections where he lodged without incident.

He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and a parole violation. Bail was set at $1,250.
