Roseburg Police cited a woman for careless driving following an accident on Friday.

An RPD report said at 11:30 a.m. the 40-year-old was driving west in the 1600 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue when her SUV struck a Corvette, which was parked on the side of the street. The woman’s vehicle rolled onto its top in the middle of the street.

The report said the driver did not know how or why her vehicle hit the Corvette. She did not show any signs of impairment. The driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for head pain. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
