RIDDLE MAN JAILED FOR INCIDENT ON HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS

A Riddle man was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged incident on the campus of Riddle High School on Sunday.

A DCSO report said at 8:20 a.m. 32-year-old Damon Harvey was called in as being disorderly in the 100 block of Main Street. Deputies contacted Harvey, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and  was almost completely naked near the school’s football field. Harvey allegedly kicked a door on a bathroom at the school, causing damage.

Harvey was taken into custody and medically cleared at CHI Mercy Medical Center before being taken to jail. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
