Roseburg Junior Cheer has registration underway for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.

It is the official feeder program for the Roseburg High School Cheer and Stunt program and has been since 2013. Cheer team is open to grades 3rd through 8th. Parents and interested cheerleaders are invited to attend a registration meeting on April 25th at 6:30 p.m.  It will be held at the YMCA of Douglas County.

The team will also have a booth with registration information at the Umpqua Valley Farmer’s Market on Saturday and at the YMCA Healthy Kids Day on April 27th. Tryouts will be held on April 29th and May 1st at 6:30 p.m. – both at the YMCA of Douglas County.

Roseburg Junior Cheer encourages all skill levels to sign-up, with no experience required. The team partners with Umpqua Valley Gymnastics and the RHS Cheer and Stunt Team, providing the cheerleaders will all the tools they need to learn tumbling and stunting skills from whatever level they are at currently. The team participates in cheerleading at the sidelines for Roseburg Youth Football, local events and parades, competitions and more.
