SUTHERLIN WOMAN JAILED FOLLOWING SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT THURSDAY

A Sutherlin woman was jailed by Roseburg Police for a suspicious incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 8:15 a.m. officers contacted the 28-year-old slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle near the intersection of Northeast Chestnut Avenue and Northeast Cedar Street. The woman was found to have a warrant for her arrest. She also allegedly had a bindle containing fentanyl next to her on the seat.

The driver was held for the warrant and was cited for a violation amount of a schedule 2 controlled substance. Bail was set at $5,000.
