Sunny conditions continued in the Umpqua Valley Wednesday, with an afternoon high temperature around ten degrees above normal.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 72 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. For this time in April, the high usually gets to around 62 degrees. The record high for April 10th was 83 degrees, set in 2004.

Partly sunny conditions are expected for Thursday with a high in the mid to upper 60s. There is a chance of showers from Friday through Sunday.
