MYRTLE CREEK MAN JAILED FOR REPORTED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Myrtle Creek man was jailed by the Roseburg Police following a reported criminal mischief incident early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 1:10 a.m. officers responded to the 2900 block of Northwest Ralinda Court after a caller said a man was pounding on the front door of the home. Officers contacted the 61-year-old who was extremely high and seemed to be hallucinating.

The suspect allegedly caused over $1,000 worth of damage to the exterior of the residence. He was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and was detained without bail.
