A district release said all families living within the district boundaries are encouraged to apply now for their child to be considered for placement in the program. To be eligible, children must turn 4 years old on or before September 1st. Families will receive notifications regarding potential placements on or before June 9th.

Applications will remain open through the upcoming school year. After May 1st, applicants will be added to a waitlist. Those at the top of the waitlist will be contacted if slots become available.

Those interested in applying are welcome to attend “A Peek into Pre-K” from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Potential applicants can visit any of the district’s three pre-K sites and learn more about the program. Pre-K is offered at Eastwood, Winchester and Green elementary schools. The program offers morning or afternoon sessions four days a week, with no school on Wednesday. There is no cost to attend.
