In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Community College Visual & Performing Arts presents an artist talk for its High Desert to High Tide exhibit.

It will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the gallery, located in the Whipple Fine Arts Center. Oregon artist Bets Cole will talk about the series of paintings, which feature Oregon landscapes from the shore to the high desert, including depictions of valleys in between.

The exhibit is on display weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through May 1st.
