ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR UNLAWFUL ENTRY TO A VEHICLE ON SUNDAY

Roseburg Police jailed a man for unlawful entry to a vehicle on Sunday.

An RPD report said at approximately 4:15 p.m. officers received a report from a victim that his vehicle had been rummaged through and his keys were stolen in the 300 block of Southeast Jackson Street.

Officers found 51-year-old Michael Jepsen in the driver’s seat. He put the keys to the vehicle on the driver’s seat and was taken into custody.

Jepsen was charged with unauthorized entry into a motor-vehicle, second-degree theft and a parole violation. He was detained on $12,500 bail.
