Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said officers contacted the 21-year-old man and the victim regarding the disturbance in the 100 block of Sunshine Road. Officers learned that the man had allegedly threatened to “put a bullet” in the victim’s head during an argument. The man reportedly had a concealed firearm on him during the time he made the statement, which caused the woman to be in fear for her life.

The man was charged with menacing. Bail was set at $6,250.
