Roseburg Police jailed a man on littering and camping charges on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. officers contacted the 55-year-old at his camp in the 900 block of Northwest Rowe Street. The camp was on the bike path over the old train trestle.

The contents of the camp included a broken elliptical, two-gallon jugs full of urine, the top half of a broken barbecue, several shopping carts, and other random trash. The man was taken into custody without issue. He was charged with depositing trash within- 100 yards of waters, and for prohibited camping. The man was jailed on $2,000 bail.
