A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:30 a.m. a deputy attempted to stop the sedan in the 2500 block of Happy Valley Road near Green.

The vehicle turned up a private driveway and shut off the lights. The deputy made contact with the 29-year-old female driver and a 42-year-old male passenger. The passenger returned with a warrant.

The driver was cited and released for violations while the passenger was detained for the warrant. He was detained without bail and released early Tuesday.
