Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Friday.

An RPD report said at 2:30 p.m. the 35-year-old was detained by loss prevention at a store in the 2700 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after he allegedly shoplifted alcohol and other assorted drinks. The man admitted to the theft. He was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250.
