A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police following a reported theft from a store on Friday.

An RPD report said at 1:30 p.m. the 42-year-old was allegedly caught stealing over $287 worth of groceries and other items by loss prevention at the business in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. He was formally trespassed by LP before leaving the premises. Officers located the suspect a short time later on an unrelated traffic stop. He was charged with second-degree theft and was released on the scene.
