Umpqua Actors Community Theatre opens its production of Moon Over Buffalo on Thursday night.

Set in the 1950s, stars George and Charlotte Hay are performing a production of Private Lives and Cyrano De Bergerac at a repertory theater in Buffalo, New York with five other actors. On the brink of a disastrous split-up, they receive word that they might have one last shot at stardom. Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and if he likes it, he might cast them in his movie. Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

The production runs Thursday through Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. through April 21st. Tickets are $17. The production is recommended for audiences aged 15 and over, due to language and adult situations.
