Roseburg Police jailed a man for a DUII incident on Friday night.
An RPD report said at 10:30 p.m. the 42-year-old was seen leaving the parking lot of a business at the intersection of Northwest Kline Street and Northwest Ashley Drive, without stopping prior to the sidewalk. An officer made a traffic stop and noticed signs of impairment. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly.
He was arrested and taken to corrections where he refused a breath sample. A search warrant was granted and served. He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants. The man was cited for refusing to take tests for intoxicants and for failure to stop when leaving a driveway. Bail was set at $10,000. The driver was released on Saturday.
