Oregon State Police investigated a crash and elude incident Wednesday night.

An OSP report said shortly before 10:00 pm. another agency initially responded on Interstate 5 near the 113 Clarks Branch Road/Round Prairie exit. The suspect vehicle was not located. Someone claiming to be the owner of the SUV called in to report the vehicle as stolen after the event. The caller said they had left the vehicle near the 113 exit of the freeway. OSP contacted the owner. The stated owner was not the registered owner, did not buy the vehicle from the registered owner, and did not have the title or a bill of sale. The vehicle was not entered as a stolen vehicle.
