In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Umpqua Community College Visual & Performing Arts presents, “Crayon” – A Colorful Evening of Scenes, opening Wednesday night.
The theater production is a collection of events, performed by seven students and community members that reflect on the comedy found in everyone’s lives – from interviewing for a job, to dating challenges, to the struggles of actually being a balloon at a birthday party.
Performances are nightly through Saturday at 7:00 p.m. with matinees Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. It will be presented in the Whipple Fine Arts Center.
Admission at the door is $15 for adults. Seniors get in for $10 with students admitted for free.
