Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged burglary on Monday.

An RPD report said just before 9:20 a.m. officers responded to the area of the 1500 block of Southeast Mill Street after receiving a call that a man was on the property, and no one had permission to be there. A 45-year-old was found inside a building and allegedly admitted that he was there looking to take wood.

The man was placed in custody without incident. He was charged with burglary in the second-degree. The suspect was detained without bail.
