The City of Roseburg welcomed new City Recorder Amy Nytes last week.

Nytes replaces Patty Hitt, who retired on February 29th.

City Manager Nikki Messenger said, “We are excited to welcome Amy to the team”. Messenger said, “She has hit the ground running. She is a great addition to the team”.

A City release said prior to her new role, Nytes was the City of Springfield’s City Recorder/Administrative Aide since 2018. She worked as Springfield’s administrative specialist from 2013 to 2018.

Nytes graduated from Yoncalla High School and lives on 2.5 acres with her fiancé and several pets.
