Roseburg Police jailed a man for a prior restraining order violation on Thursday evening.

An RPD report said on February 27th the 57-year-old allegedly violated a restraining order by contacting a victim at her place of employment. At 9:30 p.m. deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office contacted the man at his home in the 6000 block of Willis Creek Road near Winston.

He was detained on $5,000 bail and released later in the evening.
