Myrtle Creek Police cited a man for DUII and a parole violation late Tuesday.

An MCPD report said at 11:40 p.m. the 40-year-old from Riddle was stopped for traffic violations in the 1000 block of North Old Pacific Highway. The driver showed signs of impairment on a controlled substance. His parole officer authorized a detainer during the investigation. The man was taken into custody on both charges and then released after being cited.
