Avivia Health is opening its new Sutherlin Clinic, at 775 Taylor Street on Monday, April 1st.

An Aviva release said the non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center’s previous Sutherlin office was just north of the Apple Peddler Restaurant on Ponderosa Drive.

Last year the clinic building that Aviva was leasing was sold. The change in ownership presented Aviva Health with an opportunity to purchase a building of its own. Aviva Health Vice President of Clinical Operations Lauren Haddock said, “The new Taylor Street location is ideal for us”. Haddock said, “It’s very close to the city center, has easy access to and from Interstate 5, and the lot offers space for expansion should the need arise”.

The release said the 5,300 square foot single-story building was previously home to a denture lab. It features eight exam rooms and one procedure room. The building sits on a 3-acre property, which provides ample space for future growth.

Since late last year, Aviva Health Sutherlin patients have been receiving care at the organization’s Roseburg Clinic. The last day Sutherlin patients will be seen in Roseburg is Friday, March 29th. All appointments after that date will be scheduled at the new clinic location.

The Sutherlin Clinic will be open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Services offered include family medicine and pediatrics. Behavioral health care and dietitian support is available via telemedicine. A pharmacy is located at Aviva’s main clinic in Roseburg.
